Sam joined Scalar North Capital as an Associate in early 2023, bringing a background in financial services and a professional qualification earned during his four years in the City. His experience spans both public and private sector clients across Real Estate, Software, Professional Services, Manufacturing, Energy, and Industrials. Sam began his career at Seneca Learning, an EdTech company, where he collaborated with the executive team on strategy, finance, and operations leading up to a highly successful exit.

At Scalar North Capital, Sam leads deal flow origination and execution as part of the Investment Team. Serving as the initial contact for founders, he is responsible for evaluating all incoming investment opportunities and plays a pivotal role in executing deals within the advisory team across consultancy projects. In 2024, Sam was promoted to Principal.

Sam holds a BSc in Economics and Finance from the University of Exeter and has a strong interest in behavioural economics, regularly contributing thought leadership pieces on Medium.
