Celebrating Orbital Witness’ Series A Funding Milestone

Scalar North Capital is pleased to announce that one of our portfolio companies, Orbital Witness, has successfully concluded its Series A funding round, raising £7.5 million. Led by Parker89, with participation from LocalGlobe, Outward VC, Seedcamp, Portfolio Ventures, and Realty Corporation, this funding marks a significant step forward in the company’s mission to modernise property transactions through advanced artificial intelligence and geospatial technologies.

Orbital Witness’s platform is reshaping property due diligence by enabling faster, smarter, and more efficient transactions. The platform has been adopted by over 2,500 lawyers and property professionals, including notable clients such as Mishcon de Reya, Clifford Chance, Slaughter & May, Tesla, and M&S. Collectively, users have saved more than 74 million minutes across 76,000 transactions.

Ed Boulle, Co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer at Orbital Witness, commented on the challenges facing the industry:“The complexities, risks, and demands associated with leasehold conveyancing have never been higher. The industry is struggling to keep up with new legislation and new lender requirements, both set against a backdrop of experienced conveyancers leaving the profession.”

Will Pearce, Co-founder and CEO, added:“This funding round comes off the back of a year in which our company's revenues doubled, and brings our total funding to £11.5m to date.”

Paul Hurst, Managing Director at Parker89, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership:“We are excited to partner with Will, Ed, and the Orbital Witness team.”

Scalar North Capital has supported Orbital Witness since its early stages, recognising its potential to redefine property due diligence. This funding will enable the company to enhance its technology, accelerate market expansion, and further establish its leadership in legal tech.

We congratulate the entire Orbital Witness team on this achievement. For more information, visit the official announcement on the Orbital Witness blog.
