About
Josh Drukarz is the Managing Partner of Scalar North Capital, a London-based multi-family office and private investment firm focused on private-market opportunities across the UK and Europe. He joined the firm in 2019 from HSBC Global Banking & Markets, where he specialised in event-driven Rates and FX derivative structuring. His experience spans investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and real estate in London and New York, with a proven track record in originating, structuring, and executing complex, high-value transactions across technology, real estate, and financial services.
At Scalar North, Josh leads the firm’s strategy, operations, and financing, overseeing investments in VisiLean, Converge, Snap It, and Connectd. He led the management buyout in 2020 alongside partners Gary Sacks, Richard Frank, and Daniel Harris, and has since expanded the platform into advisory and specialist verticals through Nexa and TeqDen. Realisations include a 5x MOIC on Keynest. He also serves as a board member and advisor across the portfolio, providing strategic and financial guidance to management teams.
As VP of Investor Relations at Chip, (a Scalar North portfolio company), Josh led an £11 million convertible loan note with the British Business Bank’s Future Fund and Crowdcube in September 2020, securing critical growth capital during a pivotal expansion phase.
Beyond Scalar North, Josh is Chief of Staff and Commercial Director at ReCharge One, an energy infrastructure platform developing off-grid, renewable-powered EV charging across the UK’s Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, including the flagship South Downs National Park site, and building strategic partnerships with leading global energy and infrastructure groups.
Josh holds a BA (Hons) in International Relations from the University of Nottingham.
