Daniel brings a wealth of experience from his many years of involvement in the technology, sports and real estate industries.
He sits on the board at WH Holding Ltd, the parent company of West Ham United as a Non-Executive Director. A director since 2010, Daniel’s board experience includes the move to the London Stadium in 2016 and West Ham’s run to the semi finals of the UEFA Europa League in 2022 and the UEFA Europa Conference League success in the final in 2023.
Daniel held the position of CEO of the, previously FTSE350 listed, British consumer electronics group, Alba PLC, as part of a career in technology that spans more than thirty years. The company’s brands which included Alba, Bush, Breville, Grundig and Goodmans were and remain conspicuous on the high streets and shopping sites of the UK and Europe.
Daniel is Chair of Friend MTS which provides content owners, broadcasters and operators with advanced content security and anti-piracy services, including forensic watermarking, fingerprint-augmented content monitoring and legal enforcement.
With extensive property interests, his Iron Works prop co secures planning permissions and develops large scale brown field mixed use developments primarily in London and the South-East of England. Current projects cover a total of 30,000ft of retail space largely pre-let to major food retailers and close to 300 bedrooms across four developments.
In 2020, Daniel joined Managing Partner Josh Drukarz and fellow general partners Gary Sacks and Richard Frank in their successful spin-out of Scalar North Capital, the investment vehicle/family office.
In addition to his portfolio of investments, Daniel spends time advising and mentoring several early-stage technology companies.
